CERL publication makes the cover of this month's Tissue Engineering Part A
The publication titled "Ultrasoft Alginate Hydrogels Support Long-Term Three-Dimensional Functional Neuronal Networks" by G. Palazzolo et al has made it to the cover of this month's Tissue Engineering Part A. It shows Rat embryonic cortical neurons that extend neurites in three-dimensional alginate hydrogels.
Venture Kick Award for Dr. Chris Millan
Dr. Chris Millan and his company CellSpring from ETH Zurich raised CHF 130.000 each by winning the third and last round of Venture Kick. The two founders of CellSpring, Dr. Chris Millan and Kramer Schmidt, have devised a faster, more cost-effective method for developing 3D cell structures than current products to test medication.
