Light-Activated Materials
In recent decades the use of photochemistry reactions led to an unprecedented spatiotemporal control over the mechanical and chemical properties of 3D matrices. Our group is interested in the development of novel photoactivatable materials for light-mediated biofabrication techniques including DLP printing, two-photon patterning, and volumetric printing. Parallel to the design and synthesis of photoresins, our interdisciplinary lab seeks to employ these materials for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine purposes.
